This year, following the tradition of Shrove Thursday (Tsiknopempti) in our school, we celebrated the start of this year's Carnival Season (Apokries) with lots of fun, dancing and food! Tsiknopempti is a Greek custom that centers on the consumption of large amounts of grilled and roasted meats before Lenten fasting commences.

The Association of Parents and Guardians together with other volunteer parents cooked and offered the children skewers, which were a hit!

We would like to thank the Association of Parents and Guardians, who set up the grill, cooked and shared our joy!!!
