In the context of the educational three-day workshop (March 29-31) organized in Rethymnon by the Roads of Inclusion with the aim of active action against discrimination in education, the Networks of Cooperative Schools of Chania and Heraklion with the pedagogy Freinnet, enlivened the experiential workshop "I am a child and I have rights' for children aged 6-12.

During the workshop, which was hosted at the 7th Primary School of Rethymnon, group activities were carried out with the children (34 in total) using 3 books: "Alice found her name" by Ioanna Giannakopoulou, "Children on the Move" by Antonis Papatheodoulou and the 'Do I have rights? I have the right!" of Panos Christodoulou.

Children and teacher acted, dramatized, painted, expressed our opinions in plenary and also on the radio and wrote small books about rights. The point of reference for all the actions was a large-scale book entitled "I am a child, you are a child, she/he is a child. I have a right, we have rights", which was created by the teachers, but brought to life by the children who enriched it throughout the workshop with their drawings and thoughts.

We thank the principal and the teachers of the 7th Primary School of Rethymnon for the wonderful hospitality and the Roads of Inclusion for the opportunity they gave us to meet people from different places and to join forces to highlight the power of inclusion and coexistence in different communities and schools.
