During the school year 2023 – 2024, the classes of our school A3, Δ3, E1, E3, ΣΤ1 and ΣΤ3 in collaboration with a school from France and one from Portugal, participate in the e Twinning program entitled: «Voyage d’un élevé Européen».
Among the objectives of the program are the further familiarization of students with European languages such as French and English, the interaction and exchange of experiences and opinions between students and teachers who come from different countries, the acquaintance with educational systems of other countries, the development of cooperation, the promotion of creativity, etc.
As part of the program, which started in November of this school year, specific activities have taken place for each month during which students participated in teleconferences, where they introduced themselves and their interests, created Logos for the project, exchanged Christmas cards and greetings that were sent to each school by post, presented the Christmas customs and traditions of their place and created a video entitled "A day at our school".
Especially with the videos, students and teachers got a small taste of how the educational systems of each country work, the daily routine, what the school buildings are like, what facilities they have, similarities and differences in the way lessons are conducted, building equipment, etc. The students were certainly excited to see their distant friends and their schools..
